Over the last few months we have been taking a detailed look at Ephesians. This relatively short book of six chapters is packed with dense theological expositions and practical everyday application. Because of this, the book is a favorite of many (John Calvin being one of them). William Barclay calls it the “divinest composition of man” and John Mackay says Ephesians is “the most contemporary book in the Bible.” While the book covers a multitude of ideas, the main theme is unity in Christ. Not only is this an important idea for any church to discuss, but also for us as individuals as we consider our union with Christ.
