Faithwalking is our process for in-depth discipleship. Developed out of Houston, Faithwalking is gaining wide recognition for being a transformative process in the lives of people around the world. While Faithwalking, is relatively young, its impact has been deep and wide. Christ’s Community Church is proud to be one of the first churches to adopt Faithwalking.

Faithwalking is creating a community of disciples of Jesus who are being personally transformed and becoming catalysts mobilizing Christians to become the functioning Body of Christ in their neighborhoods, workplaces and 3rd places

  • to serve the poor, the marginalized, and those in need
  • to work for the common good, and
  • to restore individuals, social systems, communities and nations to God’s design.

Here are some testimonies of people from CCC who have gone through Faithwalking:

Faithwalking taught me that God made me to be a reflection of His Son, not a reflection of a broken world and gave me the tools to put that knowledge into practice. Faithwalking reminded me that I always need to be open and listening to God’s voice. Faithwalking has helped me be a better listener and to recognize and manage anxiety. ~Lesley Martin

Faithwalking is a course that will completely change how you look at your relationships, and yourself. I’ve learned that we’re not victims to our sins and we don’t need to put up with who we think we are; we have been called and designed to be holy, and we can fulfill that calling by living a reflective lifestyle with God. Throughout the course, we looked at past experiences that have lead us to create “vows,” which lead us to build “defensive routines” that we put on in situations of anxiety (let’s be honest- none of us like who we are when we’re anxious and defensive). The Faithwalking process is helping me recognize this anxiety so I can take a step back in that moment and be more true to my holy, design. The course is a great excuse to have some long-needed conversations and to go deeper with people who you care about and want to have a more full relationship with. ~Hope Martin
